Virtual Reality (VR) is a computer simulation of a real or imaginary technology in real-time.
It enables users to interact with a three dimensional environment in an immersive way, breaking down physical boundaries to make the impossible possible.
The most prominent way Virtual Reality is recognised worldwide is with a Head Mounted Device (HMD) such as the Oculus Quest, which uses input tracking systems such as tracking with head or hand motion, and voice recognition.
However, contrary to popular belief, VR does not necessarily require HMDs. At MRstudios, we specialise in a touchscreen VR option that is more accessible, usable and hygienic. We call it VR 4.0.
